Now that both Aaron and Andrew are walking and going ALL over the place there is no need for me to exercise each day-- I'm getting my share all day every day. They are becoming more interested in what's up higher- couches, shelves, counters, stairs, anything- and are attempting to reach those levels. Thankfully they haven't figured out how to get on the couch and I'm doing nothing to speed it up. We have a book shelf downstairs that used to be filled with books- adult books- until Aaron and Andrew began pulling them all off and tearing them up. It didn't take long for me to get tired of re-shelving them so they were moved. The other day I saw Aaron stand on the bottom shelf and grab onto the third one up, but I had yet to see Andrew do that. Until Wednesday. Andrew stood on the shelf too...
Aaron (L) & Andrew (R)
and took it one step further. Aaron watches Andrew and thinks, "Hmm, that 's a good idea,"...
"I think I'll try that too."
About five weeks ago, after Aaron began walking all the time, the twins have become much more interactive and aware of each other. Which caused us to separate their bedrooms again. In mid-August we joined their rooms since they were on one nap now, we wanted the sewing/computer room for us, and besides they're twins, right? This idea lasted four weeks. Andrew takes much longer naps than Aaron while Aaron will fall asleep MUCH quicker than Andrew... when they're in separate bedrooms. Getting them to fall asleep at night was a joke. Neither of them were willing to be the one to give in.
When one would jump up and down so would the other one...
When one would kick against the bars so would the other one...
When one would laugh so would the other one...
When one would move his finger up and down his lips so would the other one...
When one would bang against the wall so would the other one...
and the list goes on and on.
Aaron was getting far less sleep than previously and his mood was becoming more moody, fussy, and cranky. So for now they are back in separate rooms.
But they love to be where the other is and do & say what the other one is doing. I hope this is the beginning of them becoming not only twins and brothers, but best friends.

Wow - it's fascinating to keep track of them. Thanks for the cute pictures.
