Snow is a big deal here in Las Vegas! This morning when I woke up around 6:30 the snow was coming down in big heavy flakes and continued for about an hour. I couldn't wait for Aaron and Andrew to wake up so they could see the spectacular scene! Now I'm sure if you live somewhere like Denver or Utah snow is something more of an annoyance. But for us Vegans we enjoy the rarity of snow in the desert.

This morning I had to drop them off at a friend's house at 9 a.m. so I could be at my 9:15 dr appt. We rushed to through breakfast and getting ready so they could have a chance to play in the snow for a few minutes. It was all fun until Aaron started to run down the driveway, slipped, landed flat on his back, and bumped his head. By the time I picked them up shortly before noon most of the snow was melted.

While checking out of the grocery store this afternoon the checker commented how she called the school to see if school was cancelled because of the snow. She'd had her husband drive her to work this morning. Now give me a break!! I may be slightly overexcited about the snow but I'm not ignorant to it. We about 1.5 inches, maybe 2. And within short time it was gone.
So when we rarely get it here in Las Vegas try to appreciate it as much as we can.

1. One of my resolutions is to add to my blog 2x per month. Now that I'm making that public maybe I'll be more committed to doing it. Since we lost (so far) our pictures at least we have the blog from the first 2.5 yrs of Aaron and Andrew's life. Plus, my handwritten journal has a little too much dust on it.
2. This Wednesday we will bring our new baby into the world!! So far he is doing super. Had a couple of scares but what would a pregnancy of mine be without at least one nerve racking experience?! More posts to follow soon.

We still get excited when it snows! (Well, at least the first day of each new storm :).
